Artist-in-Residence Program
In the heart of Normandy, La Maison de Simon welcomes studio artists for six- to eight-week residencies, conceived as periods of research, creation, and renewal. Artists may also choose to engage the public through the Children’s Program and Open House events.
Professor-in-Residence Program
Art professors are invited to step away from their academic routines to fully dedicate themselves to their artistic practice. Over four weeks, the residency offers total immersion in a calm environment, fostering reflection, experimentation, and the development of new ideas.
Children's Program
In collaboration with ceramicist Anne Delahodde, each artist in residence has the opportunity to design and lead a workshop for younger audiences. Through these workshops, children are introduced to new forms of artistic expression, such as Everyone Can Draw by Zsófi Barabás, which encourages confidence and imagination, or Dreaming in Clay by Katherine Anderson, which introduces modeling and ceramic techniques.
