Katherine Anderson's work is both free and unique, imbued with fantasy, poetry, elegance, and an intimate connection with nature.

Katherine Anderson's work is both free and unique, imbued with fantasy, poetry, elegance, and an intimate connection with nature.

A landscape artist turned ceramicist and painter, Katherine Anderson creates pieces with a unique poetry, characterized by their rawness and minimalism. The artist’s ceramics are delicate, sculptural, and spontaneous.

Passionate about flowers, which the artist cultivates on the family farm, her installations perfectly illustrate the lightness and poetry with which Katherine works the material.

During her residency at La Maison de Simon, Katherine will draw inspiration from the richness of the Normand orchards, rivers winding through fields, and surrounding forests. This natural wealth will allow her to explore themes of abundance and decline, echoing the autumnal landscapes of Normandy.
